The October AVRA Veterinary Receptionist of the Month Award & VRAD Winner

AVRA had over 50 nominations for our first ever VRAD Competition and VROM Nominations. It was a difficult task for the staff and council to vote on the winner.

Charlotte Jennings was voted as the winner of the AVRA October Veterinary Receptionist of the Month award which was announced following our first celebration of Veterinary Receptionist Appreciation Day 1st October 2023. Charlotte Jennings is a Veterinary Receptionist at the Cat Protection Society Victoria and was nominated by her colleague Dr Peta Keown, the Head Veterinary at CPSV. Dr Peta  said…

Charlotte is an amazing vet receptionist. We are so happy we hired her this year. She was volunteering in the shelter and we noticed her great personality and professionalism. Since being hired, she has learnt so much in this industry that was completely new to her. Nothing seems to be too much trouble, she greets all colleagues and clients with a smile. If she doesn’t know how to do something she works it out. She often says “I’m sure I can work it out.” She is a really positive person to have on our team.

A big thank you to everyone who sent nominations and to Dr Woof Apparel & Hills Science who contributed to the competition.
